Senior IPS officer Rashmi Shukla’s reply has finally been recorded in the phone tapping case. A team from Mumbai Cyber Cell visited Shukla’s house in Hyderabad and recorded her reply. In this reply, she has refuted all the allegations against her.
Mumbai’s cyber cell had twice summoned Rashmi Shukla to appear for questioning in the phone tapping case. However, she had avoided coming to Mumbai on the pretext of Corona. Not only that, she had said that the question should be sent by email and I would answer it.
Rashmi Shukla had also rushed to the Hyderabad High Court as police officers were calling for an inquiry. After the High Court rejected his application, a team from the Cyber Cell went to Hyderabad and recorded his reply.
She is been alleged that Rashmi Shukla, who was the commissioner of the intelligence department at the time of the formation of the MVA government, illegally tapped the phones of politicians by seeking permission for tapping the phones of criminals.
Shukla has a sororal-fraternal relationship with Lop Devendra Fadnavis. As soon as the matter came to light, she had written a letter to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray apologizing for it. She was then transferred to the Central Institute on deputation. Now she has denied all the allegations against her.
