Pune: deccan express – The accused in the Congress worker and builder Sameer alias Lalbadshah Hussain Manoor murder case were remanded in police custody on Tuesday. Three persons were arrested late on Monday night by the Bharati Vidyapeeth police.
Sameer Manoor (32), a resident of Ambegaon Budruk, was shot dead in broad daylight by two bike-borne assailants on Monday noon. The killing was a result of financial dealing between the victim and the main accused. The accused were produced before the court, which remanded them in police custody.
Mehboob Saifan Balurangi (33), a resident of Janata Vasahat, parvati, Nilesh Sunil Kumbhar (30), a resident of Bhekarai Nagar, Hadapsar, and Sufian Faiyaz Chouri (19), a resident of Laxmi Nagar, Parvati, and a minor were held in the murder case.
The Shivajinagar court sent them to police custody till December 14. Adv Prasad Nikam and Adv Tanmay Dev argued on behalf of Balurangi and Kumbhar.
